On July 31, the 2022 "Xinjiang is a good place", sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was held at the Xinjiang Art Museum in Urumqi. Hu Heping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Ma Xingrui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, attended the opening ceremony and jointly launched the intangible cultural heritage exhibition. The deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the autonomous region and the chairman of the autonomous region, Elken Tunyazi, and Li Yifei, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the autonomous region and the political commissar of the Corps, were present.
We will make important progress in supporting Xinjiang with cultural and tourism counterparts. It is believed that through the combination of online and offline linkage, exhibition and performance, this exhibition will provide the people with a feast of intangible cultural heritage that can be seen, heard, tasted and felt. The national cultural and tourism system should fully and accurately implement the Party's strategy of governing Xinjiang in the new era, based on the characteristics of the work, make good use of rich resources, improve the effectiveness and comprehensive benefits of the work of counterpart assistance to Xinjiang, better nourish Xinjiang, unite people's hearts and promote development, and make new and greater contributions to the construction of a shared spiritual garden of the Chinese nation and the building of a sense of community of the Chinese nation.

In his speech, Erken Tonyazi said that Xinjiang is the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, the bridge and link connecting Europe and Asia, and the place where the cultures of the East and the West converge and exchange. Xinjiang's intangible cultural heritage resources are diverse, rich in content and rich in cultural connotation, recording the true history of extensive exchanges, comprehensive exchanges and deep integration of various ethnic groups, and confirming the development of the pluralistic and integrated Chinese culture in Xinjiang. Xinjiang will take this intangible cultural heritage exhibition as an opportunity, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, to strengthen cultural exchanges with the provinces and cities in Xinjiang, and carry out the project of embodying Xinjiang with culture, so that the Chinese culture can be fully displayed and directly reach the hearts of the people through physical reality, continue to strengthen the sense of the Chinese national community, build a strong joint force to build a better Xinjiang, and present a tribute to the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements in stable development.
At the opening ceremony, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region signed strategic cooperation agreements with 16 units such as the Department of Culture and Tourism of some provinces and cities in Xinjiang, the National Museum of China, the New World China Real Estate Co., Ltd., the Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd., and the Overseas Chinese Town Group Tourism Research Institute.
With the theme of "People's Intangible Cultural Heritage, the treasure of culture", this exhibition invited 193 representative projects of intangible cultural heritage in 19 provinces and cities of Xinjiang, 146 representative projects of intangible cultural heritage in 14 prefectures and cities of Xinjiang and the Corps to participate in the exhibition, and held a series of activities such as colorful intangible cultural heritage, music and dance intangible cultural heritage, fingertip intangible cultural heritage, cloud intangible cultural heritage, tidal intangible cultural heritage, interesting intangible cultural heritage, moon night intangible cultural heritage, dialogue intangible cultural heritage, treasure intangible cultural heritage, etc. The exhibition will last until August 4
